Samsung Malaysia yesterday unveiled the much anticipated Note 3 and Galaxy Gear to the media as the next big thing in the world of Smart Gadgets we must have! The Note 3 comes with a wider 5.7inch full HD Super AMOLED display with slimmer and lighter hardware design and what is said to be a more powerful and longer lasting battery.
With a 13MP rear camera with Smart Stabilization and high CRI LED flash, the Note 3 enables users to capture images with quite a good clarity even in low light and active situations. At present, the Note 3 that will be released in Malaysia is on the LTE technology with supports for greatest number of multiple frequencies.
Playing with the display units, for users of Samsung smart devices, getting through the menus and tasks will be a breeze as the isn’t much changes to it. Only additional items I could see is the Air Command that is used with the S Pen. Supposedly more sensitive but I’ve not used the one in my Note 2 also so I wouldn’t be able to tell if it is more sensitive in the Note 3.
There’s plenty of other functions on the Note 3 too but then I will look at it in more detail later on once I get to play with both the Note 3 and Gear for a longer period. The Note 3 is priced at RM999 and wearing it next to my watch, the size isn’t that much different but for ladies, it would be a bit more bulkier. The Note 3 is priced at RM2399 but some telcos are offering interesting promos at the moment to pair both the Gear and Note 3 together in their bundle. If you have no problem being contracted with a Telco, go ahead and check them out.
