Day 1 in Vientiane
Officially the first day at the International Broadcast Center.
It’s all busy busy busy setting up the station ready for our first broadcast from the venue.

Here’s where I’m working from, about 30min drive from the hotel I’m staying in but near to the stadiums.

Changed some money to spend, I’m a freaking millionaire there but the million doesn’t last long as before we know it after paying for food and all, there’s no more cash. LOL

Aside from that, there’s nothing much for me to report from the place so here’s a shot of the cloud as we flew into Bangkok last night before getting into a turboprop plane to Vientiane. Will update when I have the time. Til then, it’s day 1 from Vietiane, wish you were here.

Hi Mike, I hope Vientiane is charming as I expect it to be. I must visit again next year to see how it developed in 1 year. Try the Laap and the Baguette! They are awesome. And if you like coffee, try to local LAO Coffee at the local coffee shops. Got kick man. Anything else, check my Vientiane Lao Food posting, I listed some of the nice places to eat there.
Have a blast man and regards,
David
P/S. Sorry I couldn’t join you.
