Cowboys Hitting The Dance floor
While majority of the KLites are either at MTV World Stage 2010 at Sunway Lagoon or at the Heineken Green Room, there are also some of us who prefer to just hang out with a bunch of friends at Modesto’s in CapSquare for our regular Salsa Night. As there are some of you who asked me why I don’t post up photos from my Salsa outing anymore, well, here’s the photos from the night. This Saturday Night’s theme was Cowboy/chequered shirts and through the social media networks, a lot of the dancers found out about the theme and came dressed for the occasion.

Just in case you want to plan your trip to the salsa venues, do note that most of the time, the dancing starts at 10pm as the places we go to also serves dinner services before we take over the dance floor. But we do have cases where the party starts earlier but those will be announce way earlier for all to take note. Every Saturday Salsa Social Nights are theme nights and normally we announce the theme of the night a day or two before. You can find out what’s the theme are by following me on Twitter or checking my Facebook Status.

With the MSF just around the corner, we start to see many new faces at the clubs as there are some participants that’s arriving earlier for holidays prior to the MSF.

And of course, there’s the regulars that takes up majority of the dance floor. Everyone’s like a family after awhile as you’d practically see them more often than you see your own parents.

And when it comes to Salsa dancing, you can feel the 1Malaysia spirit flowing as we have people of all races and age group being in the same room dancing to the same beats of the Claves.

If you’re wondering where and when we dance on the weekly basis, here’s the usual spots and days.
Wednesday – Aliyaa @ Bukit Damansara
Friday – Paradiso @ The Lodge
Saturday – Modesto’s @ CapSquare
Sunday – Shivz Grill @ Bangsar

If you’d like to join us but am shy, just feel free to drop me a note/mail/PM (on FACEBOOK) and i’ll guide you through the maze that is the Salseras and Salseros. Again by following me on Twitter or checking my Facebook Status, that’s where you’d find out where we will be at and what’s the theme for the week is.
