Donate 2012 Day Out with Charity Homes & Blood Donation Drive

Some of you may know by now that for a month after Chinese New Year, I was running a donation drive simply titled #MyDonate2012 on this site with the finale being a day out with the children from the SHELTER home and BETH SHALOM. That day finally came and I met with some of the volunteers for breakfast before we head over to the homes to pick up the children. As a treat, it was a ride in a sports car and the children was utterly excited about it!

After getting the children strapped into the 5 volunteer sports cars that showed up, we then proceed on to Sunway Pyramid. It was a leisurely drive as there isn’t much traffic on a Sunday morning. For once, there’s practically no traffic at all heading towards the shopping mall! We parked our vehicles nearest to the entrance and proceed on to TGV Cinemas’ Function Hall. (more…)

Joe Christin Uncovered…

One of my comedian buddy contacted me some time late last year to get some shots done for TimeOut KL to promote the Sick & Twisted Comedy Night which incidentally was a huge success. Photos from that show will be uploaded onto Facebook soon.

But for now, it’s all about Joe Christin, the man who in his sick and twisted way find humor in things most of us Malaysians find taboo. So here’s just a few shots from the shoot that we did, fairly simple stuff that we got done within minutes but creating the results we wanted. (more…)

Magnum Choco-Cappuccino Launched!!

Last year, I was there when they launched the Chocolate Truffles variant of Magnum’s premium Belgian Chocolate. Last night, to herald the arrival of Magnum’s 4th variant – choco-cappuccino, Magnum brought together a caterie of socialites, celebrities and luxury aficionados in a star-studded soiree at Shook! Starhill Gallery to launch new flavor with a bang!

Hugo Verkuil, the MD of Unilever Malaysia said, “The iconic Magnum has always been a symbol of luxury and pleasure, Last year, we successfully introduced the Magnum Ice Cream featuring Premium Belgian Chocolate in every bte. I am pleased and proud to see the positive enthusiasm from Magnum lovers all over Malaysia and I am certain the arrival of this new Magnum Choco-Cappuccino will serve to be another regal decadence! Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial Valentine Party 2012

Love was in the air as celebrities and aficionados of the venerated champagne house, Moët & Chandon, gathered at the Centre Court of Pavilion KL to celebrate the launch of the limited edition Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial “Tag Your Love” bottle pack.

Thanks to the people of Moët & Chandon for inviting me to the event where we got to enjoy some beautiful bubblies while catching up with some of my friends from the entertainment industry. It definitely was an interesting night out. It was great to catch up with Daphne and her husband before the start of the event too! We shall try to set our “plan” in motion and see how far we can ge!! (more…)
