Magnum Choco-Cappuccino Launched!!

Last year, I was there when they launched the Chocolate Truffles variant of Magnum’s premium Belgian Chocolate. Last night, to herald the arrival of Magnum’s 4th variant – choco-cappuccino, Magnum brought together a caterie of socialites, celebrities and luxury aficionados in a star-studded soiree at Shook! Starhill Gallery to launch new flavor with a bang!

Hugo Verkuil, the MD of Unilever Malaysia said, “The iconic Magnum has always been a symbol of luxury and pleasure, Last year, we successfully introduced the Magnum Ice Cream featuring Premium Belgian Chocolate in every bte. I am pleased and proud to see the positive enthusiasm from Magnum lovers all over Malaysia and I am certain the arrival of this new Magnum Choco-Cappuccino will serve to be another regal decadence! Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial Valentine Party 2012

Love was in the air as celebrities and aficionados of the venerated champagne house, Moët & Chandon, gathered at the Centre Court of Pavilion KL to celebrate the launch of the limited edition Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial “Tag Your Love” bottle pack.

Thanks to the people of Moët & Chandon for inviting me to the event where we got to enjoy some beautiful bubblies while catching up with some of my friends from the entertainment industry. It definitely was an interesting night out. It was great to catch up with Daphne and her husband before the start of the event too! We shall try to set our “plan” in motion and see how far we can ge!! (more…)

TGV Club Launched @ Sunway Pyramid

TGV Cinemas in Sunway recently launched the IMAX hall and now put another historic launch in their book to kick off 2012! What I’m talking about? I’m talking about the TGV Club, their first and ever premiere class halls (there’s 2!) in the very same venue as the IMAX theater! Was told by Kenny that Sunway Pyramid is one of the biggest draw for TGV Cinemas when it comes to cinema goers, that’s why the public that goes to this venue gets pampered with all these new goodies first.

Felt honored to be invited to the launch as I’m a movie buff (even though I don’t write movie reviews often in here, will work on that or anyone willing to volunteer their service in doing movie reviews? Let me know, I can take you along with me to the movies, and you do the writing) and at the same time during the launch, I got the meet up with acquaintances I got to know from way back in 2008 (but lost touch). Kronenbourg 1664 Launches L’APERITIF Fashion @ G Tower

Recently attended the launch of Kronenbourg 1664 (France’s No.1 selling beer) very first L’APERITIF FASHION at G Tower’s The View – a reinvention of the Happy Hour in Malaysia that showcases French glamorous influence in Malaysian fashion.

At the event, the likes of the world-renowned Malaysian-born shoe designer Dato’ Professor Jimmy Choo, OBE, Andrea Fonseka, Amber Chia, Gillian Hung and Keith Kee made an appearance and was appointed as fashion gurus for the upcoming L’APERITIF FASHION runways in 2012. (more…)

Where’s The Party @ Carlsberg Brewery 2011

Attended the 2nd edition of Carlsberg‘s Where’s The Party at their very own Brewery where the first Carlsberg beer was locally brewed in 1972. Estimated to have in excess of 2,000 guests at the venue scattered across the various areas of the brewery. Loads of food, games and rides like the Ferris Wheel, Pirate Ship, Adult Carousel and the most packed of all, the Sky Rider.

As usual I got to the venue earlier than everyone else and the crew was still in the midst of setting up under the rain. Made my way into the Tavern for some drink cause I’m a tad thirsty. Ehem. What a way to start the party eh? The first of the many buses ferrying the party goers started to arrive around 4pm from Shah Alam stadium and everyone made their way in and got the party going.
