Signed, Sealed and Delivered. I’m a certified alcoholic… connoisseur. How it all happened? I received a call one fine day that goes, “OI! Alcoholic! head over to Wei Ling Contemporary @ Gardens, Midvalley at 7pm this Thursday for some Absolut fun!”, well, that was a few days prior to the Absolut Akademi last week. I got there late, punishment is shots of Vodka! It’s one of those days when I look forward to be punished (hmm… sound wrong).
It’s an Absolut tasting event where we are brought through the history of the Absolut brand and how Vodka under the Absolut brand was made. Matthew Pomeroy was there to show us what this brand is all about and teach us what makes Absolut absolute. (more…)

7aste Queenstown in June!
7aste (pronounced as Taste) is back and this time, it’s going to be Queenstown! No, we are not traveling to Queenstown, New Zealand even though I’d love to but it’s another theme night by 7aste with free flow of drinks, yup, it’s another night of free flow drinking and partying courtesy of 7aste. Yup, come June 17, it’s going to be the chilly Queenstown at Ecoba!
This time though, 7aste will be an exclusive event strictly for invited guests only. There won’t be any last minute invites nor pay-at-the-door entries anymore (as compared to the previous years). So better get yourself the invite before it’s too late. (more…)
TNT Expatriate Lifestyle Charity Golf Tournament 2011 – Photos
Last Friday marks my 1st Anniversary shooting for Mongoose Publishing as I was the official photographer for the TNT Expatriate Lifestyle Charity Golf Tournament 2011 for the 2nd year running. Do check out the next Expatriate Lifestyle magazine for the results of the tournament where a guy successfully made a Hole in One and won himself a 207 and the tournament successfully raised RM40,000 for 3 charity homes.
The game was held at the Royal Selangor Golf Club like the previous year with the skyscrapers of Kuala Lumpur as the background of the golf course. Here’s some of the photos from the tournament. (more…)
Hennessy Artistry 2011 @ Opera – Photos
The party has finally ended albeit abruptly because of some roof collapse when Vandalism was performing, Opera couldn’t handle the pressure of the party? I still don’t understand why Opera was chosen as from my previous experience in this place when it comes to event, it just could not handle it. Anyway, my team wasn’t the one behind this event so who am I to comment about the choice of venue. Right?
It was drizzling when I got to Opera where they erected a platform where you need to register and then proceed to a few interactive booths. Here’s the funny thing, a bunch of us (including some media) was not allowed to go in (registration was supposed to start at 8.30pm but we had to stand under the rain until 9pm) as the registration counter was not open yet but every now and then, we see 2 – 3 people walking in to get themselves registered because they know the organizer. Guess it’s always better to know someone inside who can let you in while everyone waits for their turn. (more…)
