Come 15 September, Blackberry fans in Malaysia can get their hands on the Bold 9900 at RM2188 and the BlackBerry Torch 9810 at RM1988. A tease of the price was blasted out last Friday on Twitter for those of you who didn’t catch that and now, the price is confirmed! The Bold 9900 is slightly wider than Bold 97oo and I wonder if it’ll come with the Blackberry 7 OS? Anyone want to take a guess?

You can now place your Pre-Order with Brighstar Malaysia from today until 21st August with a deposit of RM300 only. The Telcos have yet to announce their price list though which will come with their BIS service. So, with my birthday being about a month and a half away, any kind souls want to get me the 9900 as a birthday present? It’s about time to replace my Bold 9700 as it’s practically on a slow death.

Ferrari FF Launched in Malaysia

The highly anticipated Ferrari FF among the fans is finally in Malaysia and I got a chance to have first hand feel of it at Naza Italia at the Media Launch. The unique and versatile Ferrari is the brand’s first four-seater, four-wheel drive car and has aroused great interests since its international launch.

I must admit that the first time I saw images of it months ago, my first impression was Why did Ferrari do that? But the styling slowly grew on me and when I get the chance to look at it up close, I must say that this “GT Wagon” (can’t help myself calling it a wagon since the rear of the car reminds me of one) by Ferrari is beautiful. The rear might look odd to a lot of people as we are so used to seeing a sleek looking beauty while the FF looks like a shapely Station Wagon. (more…)

Galaxy Tab 10.1 Sneak Peek

Posted By Michael Yip / August, 5, 2011 / 0 comments

Recently, Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) invited some of us to their office for a sneak peek at the new yet-to-be-launch Galaxy Tab 10.1. 2 things to note here before we continue though is that the Launch Date and the Price (sub RM2,000 was the clue) of the Tab is not given so it’s just a guessing game as to when it’ll be launched and how much it’ll be sold for. One thing for sure is they will be working closely with Celcom to sell this new device.

Our guess is it’s going to be in the 2nd week of August so for the techies out there wanting to get your hands on the new Tab 10.1, get your wallet ready as it’s going to be a mad mad rush for it. One thing that Samsung did assure us is that there will be enough stocks for the devices so have no fear! (more…)

The 1.247km long and 10meter wide SIC Kart Circuit at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) recently went through a rebirth and was relaunched together with a new operator in charge that will now co-manage the go-kart circuit with SIC.

Designed by renowned Formula One track designer Hermann Tilke, the man responsible for the layout of SIC’s main track as well as a few other tracks on the Formula One calendar, the track provides karters with 11 beautiful corners with the track’s surface using the same materials as the tarmac on the SIC F1 Circuit itself. This relaunch see not only a change of operator but also some new set-ups like a completely new tyre barriers and installation of better drainage. (more…)
