Burger & Nasi Lemak Utara SS2
To me, there’s 2 famous Burger stalls in SS2, the first one is located in front of the Fire Station in SS2 operated by the staff of the station and the other is located opposite SS2′s Police Station.
It’s quite easy to spot this burger stall as it’s the first one in the open food square. To help those that doesn’t know how to identify food stalls, look for the sign Gerai A1. If you still missed it, I suggest to go to the nearest Optometrist and get your eyes checked.
Anyway, to me, it is popular since the early 90s as it’s one of the few stalls out there that sells not only your usual Burger Ayam or Beef Burger and Benjo. It’s one of the few stalls out there that also sells Rabbit Burger and Deer Burger. Yup, you heard me right, Deer Meat burger.
I used to frequent that stall regularly for my weekly fix of Burger Arnab Double Special and Burger Rusa Double Special but since I started working long hours, the frequency of me going there had dwindled. Also, of late, they only sell deer meat and rabbit meat on certain days only as to purchase the patty of those meats, they have to travel all the way to Johor.
And so, my trip there this time around, I ordered the usual whenever I go there when there’s no Rabbit or Deer meat. It’s the Burger Ayam Double Special minus the chili sauce with everything else in it. One of the amazing features of any Ramly Burger is the way it’s prepared, fresh right in front of you dare to stand in front of the stove. Everything you could think of was placed into the burger between the meat and the buns.
In this instance, the usual cabbage, onions, pineapple and fried onions was placed in between the bun and the two chicken patty wrapped in a layer of scrambled eggs. Top all this up with a good hearty amount of ketchup, Black Pepper Sauce and Mayonnaise. It’s all heavenly! In the states, believe this is what they called a Sloppy Joe. Give me a choice between the evil McDonald’s and Ramly Burger, Ramly Burgers have my votes every time.

The burger up there isn’t so sloppy as compared at my neighbourhood’s.
It’s SOO sloppy, that the ketchup + mayonnaise + salad overflowed and completely drenched the buns.
