BBC One’s Apparitions

Was recently introduced to the series APPARITIONS by Mrs. Gregory. Produced by BBC One, Apparitions stars Martin Shaw (Judge John Deed, George Gently), originally produced as a two-part special for transmission in early 2008. The series was being produced as a longer series and on air since late 2008.
The series is about Father Jacob (Martin Shaw), a priest working to promote candidates for sainthood who becomes drawn in to exorcism as he discovers a dark battle between good and evil. A battle that threatens the future of the human race itself.
If you’re into series about exorcism, about God and demons and the supernaturals, this is a series for you. 6 episodes of the Apparitions is available for download from torrent. Just a note of warning, if you don’t have the stomach for these kind of show, do refrain from watching it. Apparitions is pretty hardcore stuff. In the first episode alone, a gay priest gets flayed alive in a sauna and a man possessed by demons prepares to rape his nine-year-old daughter. This is the kind of stuff we’re talking about from the show.
If you’re up for it, head over to your fav. torrent site and get it. I doubt it’ll appear on our local channels. Talking about programmes showing on local channels, how come a series like Dr. Who also don’t make it into local tv stations?
