Playing in the Lalang field
I know over the past couple of months, you’ve been seeing a lot of sun set photos from me. Well, I can’t really help it as that’s one of the most beautiful and magical hours to me.

The play of light at that hour is just magnificant, God’s wonders never cease to amaze me. How the heaven turn the day to night and the colors that appears in between that switch. It’s incredible don’t you think so? (more…)
Revisits Hanis of Malaysian Dream Girl
Hanis requested some photos for me to be used for a TV show that’ll be featuring her on TV soon so I got around to getting all her photos down and proceed to sending them to her. Since the photos was already there, it’ll be a waste not to see what I can do with them right?

So here’s some of the photos that I’ve shot of Hanis at the Malaysian Dream Girl finale last year. (more…)
The Stars Tribute Song to Michael Jackson

No you won’t find Michael Jackson’s Death photos or Michael Jackson’s Autopsy results here.
Here, I’m sharing with you this tribute track done by Sean “Diddy” Combs titled “Better on the Other Side” features Diddy, along with fellow Jackson mourners Chris Brown, Boyz II Men, the Game, Polo and Mario Winans.
Basically a tribute to the way Jackson influenced countless artists who came after him, a few lines of the track go like this:
“I guess what I’m askin’ is, everybody bow your head for a legend, don’t breathe for a second… My confession, somebody tell Usher, I seen him moonwalk, I guess the young ‘Thriller’ touched him, like he touched me, like he touched you…”
Listen to it here!
The Decepticon that didn’t made it…
There sure is a lot of cars and trucks in this installment of Transformers but I guess not many was able to make it past just having the logo plastered to it’s “chest”.
Saw this poor Decepticon sitting there by the parking bay waiting for some one to come and say hello. Awww… poor thing, all glam up and they forgot to put you in the show.

I guess the Transformers fever isn’t going to die down any time soon. Called my son yesterday and the first thing he told me was… “PA!!! Buy me the Transformers DVD when you come back ok?”… I can hear sniggering at my side while I was thinking in my head… “WTF, that’s all you can think of your old man? First thing you say on the phone is to ask me to buy things?”. (more…)
Failed Panorama Trial
Was playing with some panorama photos by stitching a few photos together to form a bigger photo, it took me quite awhile to get the photos done due to the lack of power from my old notebook. The juice is not enough to run more than 2 programs whenever I try to render high res stuff. Quite sad but true, anyone want to donate money to me to get a new computer? Let me know yah.
The first one was put together from 7 images shot side by side one after another. Sadly, there’s a lot of ghosting in the photos due to the wind at the time I took the photo, so the trees sway and so forth, you get the idea right? Click on the image to view the larger pic. (more…)

RIP Michael Jackson, the King of POP
When I read the news this morning, the one that shocked me the most is the announcement of the death of Michael the Wacko. I grew up listening to his music, thrilled to his MTVs and still even now, still occasionally blast his music out loud at home when no one else was in. Yes, I’m a fan of his. Not shy to admit it.

Michael, whose lifetime of hits sold more than 750 million albums worldwide, whose landmark Thriller broke records and racial divides, whose smooth moves revolutionized dance as much as pop, and whose penchant for headline-making helped burnish his brand, and, following child-abuse allegations, helped tarnish it as well, died today after being found unconscious at his Los Angeles-area home. Monkeying Around
These bunch of monkeys was monkeying around and grabbing crumbs of biscuits thrown by an old lady. With my camera around, I can’t pass off this opportunity to snap some photos and also to take down some notes of the shots I like while I’m at it.

The funny thing is, this malay couple drove by and saw the monkeys and stopped, the lady approached me while her “Abang” wait by the car and asked me what type of monkeys are they in Malay. So I gave her a quick answer along with their behaviors so that she could keep a distance and not be attacked (They do attack when provoked). (more…)
Portraits of Joyce
Took these portraits for Joyce at the park opposite Amcorp Mall. At first, we thought that we won’t be able to capture any shots before it rains as the storm clouds closed in but as we head to the spot I chosen, the cloud parted ways for a nice afternoon sky amidst the bloody haze. Here’s some photos.

Singapore River Fesitval & Nuffnang SG Pajamas Party
This is a photo heavy post…. wait… all my post have loads of photos… oh well… Went with the Nuffnang Singapore Bloggers and the Nuffies on a tour of the Singapore River Festival when I was at Singapore. Quite an interesting adventure walking from Clark Quay to Boat Quay to catch the boat for the boat ride after watching the Aerial Acrobatic performance and the stage play in Clark Quay. It’s quite tiring actually. Here’s some photos from the Singapore River Festival

Buzz About Kitchen Sinks!
I’ve been thinking… about renovation to the kitchen area. The current sink that’s in the home isn’t doing too well, constantly clog up, leaks around the washer and under heavy load, it felt like it’ll give way at any moment without notice.
Well, like all planning, we need to do some research online before moving forward with our plans right? Through my search, I came across this site by MR Direct Incorporated that sells undermount sink that comes in Stainless Steel or granite.
Looking at the price, it’s quite affordable too, $94 for the 3121L Undermount Offset Stainless Steel Sink. It look really great, as it provides a bigger bowl for the washing of dishes and the smaller bowl that I could use to soak vegetables before cooking. The current one I have has two of the similar sized bowls which when used for soaking vegetables or table clothes, waste a lot of water, something I don’t want to do. The other interesting thing about this sink is it’s undermounted, what it means is that the sink is mounted under a counter as opposed to being “dropped in”, this is so you won’t get the edge of the sink popping out of the counter top. This undermounted thing would surely come in handy, since I love to chop stuff on the counter top and I can just easily sweep all the crumbs into the sink instead of sweeping outwards and have some falling onto the floor. Real Life Constructicon Spotted!
I was taking a stroll around the housing area and spotted this sleeping giant! A real life Constructicon right here! Scavenger was his name but I guess nothing is going to happen until the Revenge of the Fallen.

OK OK… Fine…. it won’t transform into a giant robot, but still look menacing doesn’t it? Can you imagine what it’s like to see such a machine transforming into a giant robot before your eyes? (more…)

Kota Damansara Community Forest
It was a nice day and I decide to go out for a walk near home, even though there’s haze in the Klang Valley and it’s practically boiling throughout the day. It’s always a nice idea to go out for a walk, sweat a bit to allow the body some form of exercise. Right?

One of the place I like to walk towards is the Kota Damansara Community Forest, a beautiful spot near the edge of Kota Damansara, the place provides a refreshing view from our daily concrete jungle. Even though the place is beautiful, one thing that’s sad to see is the rubbish around the edge of the lake. We can only go down and pick up those that’s nearest to us but those that’s in a distance, it’s a tad hard. (more…)
The Star Spreading Porn Links Online
Yup, you read the title right.
The star covered the news release of the government here. The best thing is, I’m not sure they did it on purpose or the editor didn’t use his/her brain when it come to this, they posted all the links that the government banned!
The good part? The ban was mostly for government offices so we, the citizen of Malaysia, can still surf into those sites without them being blocked! How wonderful is that?!? According to Nigel Sia, one or two of the site also have Nuffnang’s ads! Boy, will they make some good bucks with the sudden “free advertisement” by The Star. Viewership is bound to go up in leaps and bounds in the next few days.
Here’s a screen-shot of the news report by The Star newspaper. Be warned, it’s quite a long one. Will take some time to load. (more…)
Setting Sun Over Port Dickson
Another landscape series from me, this was shot at Port Dickson near the Yacht Club against a hazy backdrop. As you know, lately the west coast of Malaysia has been enveloped by a layer of haze, it’s nothing new of course since Indonesia, our oh so friendly neighbor like to burn things in the open and fan it our way.

How come none of our enforcement officers are issuing them with any summons when they are so diligently issuing summons for even the most minute of offenses? Isn’t open burning an offense? (more…)

Cut Throat @ PJ Seafood Restaurant
This is one of the harshest post that’ll ever appear on this site, I can’t help but being disappoint with the food there and I don’t normally mess around when it comes to food. It had been awhile since my family last came here for dinner and so we thought that it’ll be a nice place to go to celebrate my dad’s birthday which is actually today! So … HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!

We arrived at the restaurant about 7ish, normally by then, there would be a lot of people but it wasn’t so on that night. Found a spot to seat, menu was given and the Manager was trying to recommend (but it was more like trying to push) some of their dishes and we made our choices.
These are the food we ordered, I don’t really know the names of the dishes so I’ll just comment on them without the names. (more…)

Eating Seafood in Kota Kinabalu with Celebrities
What happens when you have a bunch of hungry guys and girls including the likes of Hannah Tan, Pietro Felix, Harith Iskandar, Hans Isaac wonders what to eat for dinner? Well, wonder no more, these sets of food was from some time back when we were in Kota Kinabalu for a show.

The restaurant we went to is known as the Ocean Seafood Village Restaurant, quite a popular one in Kota Kinabalu and according to some of the locals, one of the most expensive places to eat seafood. We were invited by Fellest and his family to join them for dinner there and how can we just say no to some good seafood dinner? (more…)
