Last night, the ‘H’ Factor NCYW was launched at Werner’s @ Changkat in leading up to the 4 workshops spread across the country. I was there as my company is working along with Hannah Tan’s team to cover this event throughout the entire 4 stops starting with Penang, Johor, KK and KL. Events Xpert is the official Videographer!

The ‘H’ Factor is Six local celebrities and three industry professionals pioneering the first nationwide creative youth workshop to promote the positive development of creative talent among the Malaysia’s pop-culture society. Spearheaded by Hannah Tan, the workshops aims to cultivate a sense of positivity among the Malaysian pop-culture community in an era where drugs, alcoholism, free-sex and gangsterism are considered cool.

The night started off with a brief thank you note from Hannah Tan to all the sponsors that’s working with the project (got one where she thank me so will try to put it up on youtube once i’ve edited the video). Followed by a video montage done by Joey for this event. Each 9 individual speakers was then ushered onto the stage and talked about what they are expecting from the workshop for themselves as well as for the public. All positive words which is good. The night ends with some mingling between the sponsors and the artistes as well as some magic tricks from David lai which left Serena C stumped. He also did some later on with the few of us using Joey and Hannah (who says she never did it before). which left us wondering how it was done too. Anyway, it was an interesting night and looking from it, the 4 trips we’re all making will be a blast!
