Carlsberg Gold Launched!

I attended the Carlsberg Malaysia’s unveiling of the Carlsberg Gold last Thursday. It’s basically the same 160th Anniversary Brew that was released last year (2007) which was re-released as the Gold due to the overwhelming response from the public.
I took quite a few mugs of it and I can say that I love it! I never really like Carlsberg’s as I don’t feel that it had the same kick that I get from the Tiger Beer but the Gold is different, it taste different compared to even the Tiger Beer with it’s own distinctive taste. Quite nice I tell you.
Now, at the event, I met up with not only some friends I knew since school days but new ones. There was a Jazz band entertaining the crowd when I entered the venue where dinner was served along with the never ending flow of beers which, IMHO is a great combination.
Daphne Iking was the emcee for the night and Jac. Victor made an appearance too to perform some of her hit songs. I can say that with these combination, it was definitely a good launch indeed.
Now, aside from Tiger beer, I got another beer to swig on. It’s tough when you only like one type of beer but now, I have a choice. It’s good. More photos here.

No offense I personally prefer Tiger than Carlberg. For me, Carlberg is for those uncles. HAHA
